Sorry for missing past few weeks. Fishing as been incredible at that Skyway with several large Sheepshead being caught. We did boat one at the 20″ mark, with several being 16″-19″. 2/9/20 fishing report

Same story guys,,,,,,, SKYWAY EQUALS QUALITY SHEEPSHEAD!!! High winds making Clearwater area hard to produce. Finding spots with wind protection and structure are key. No reds this week, but several trout in the 14in-18in range

2/2/20 fishing report.

Stuck inshore all week due to high winds and cold fronts. Skyway trips this week are still producing at the bridges and rocky bottom there. Largest Sheepshead being 16 inches. Inshore in Clearwater area still producing some speckled trout with some smaller red fish. A few keeper Sheepshead off the docks with largest being 14 inches.


Fishing the Skyway has been productive for Sheepshead on fiddlers and shrimp. Deeper water with more structure allowing for more fish. The extra benefit is more areas to allow us to get out of the wind. Strong winds with colder water temps has made fishing hard in Clearwater waters for “meat fish”.
